WHEELCHAIR BOUND CHILD STUCK AT HOME 24/7 WITH HIS WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE TOILET OUT OF ORDER
During the Corona lockdown, when families were at home 24/7, we received a call from a mother who lives in the center of the country. In a quiet, emotional voice, she said that one of her children suffers from cerebral palsy. The family’s only wheelchair accessible bathroom suddenly developed a serious plumbing problem. The mother poured her heart out to us, explaining that both she and her husband have been laid off from their jobs. Their unemployment benefits have not yet kicked in and they cannot afford to pay a professional plumber. She begged us to come and help them. After dispatching a team to their home and solving the problem the parents could not thank us enough.
